Re-Sounding Falkland – 2010

A 2 years project, in collaboration with Louise K Wilson, producing a series of audio-visual works that explored the historic buildings and landscapes of Falkland Estate, Scotland.

The first phase of this project –Falkland Audiowalk, an mp3 based pre-recorded audiowalk –  was launched at the Big Tent Festival, Falkland  (July 25th -26th 2009).

A final exhibition of the above work, Arcadia (2008) and three new installations: Temple of Decision, a video piece exploring the ruined folly; Cascading, a 6-Channel audio work based on the allegedly ‘tuned ‘ House of Falkland cascades and Chase a yard worse than last, a live piece based on a game of Real Tennis in the Falkland  Palace court, was held on in Falkland May 29th – 30th 2010.

The project was produced with support of Falkland Centre for Stewardship and received funding from Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and Arts Council Scotland.
